Most first time moms-to-be stress over the idea of buying maternity clothes and most of all what size should I buy?
Don't stress anymore, we are going to make this very easy for you.
Most designers have sized their clothes to relate to your pre-pregnancy size- but just like non-maternity clothes it can vary from brand to brand. As your waist line is expanding and you may be dreading buying larger clothes, keep in mind that most maternity designers tend to run a little small. Use the reference chart below and order accordingly. If you are ever in doubt, email us or call us for further information.
HSTMaternity.com makes sure that the styles are within a general range of other designers and we will let you know if styles are cut smaller. We will provide the information in the detail page of the item if they are cut smaller or larger. For example, if an item is cut smaller in the thighs you may want to order the next size up. If you are in between a small and medium and the legs are generously cut, then you might want to order a small.
All pregnant women gain weight in many different areas and no two moms-to-be are alike. You know your body and where the extra pounds are going. Keep that in mind when ordering your sizes.

Rebel |
Rebel clothing is sized numerically, but cut small in the thighs. Order one size up from pre-pregnancy. Some of their bottoms can be special ordered in tall. Email us for more information. |

Jap Wknd & Ripe |
The styles that we carry from Japanese Weekend run fairly true to size. Exceptions will be noted on individual items. Ripe tends to run long in length but a great fit in the thighs and tummy. |

Olian, Tummi, & Duet |
Generally fits true to size. There is some variation among styles, so look carefully at the detail page to see if the item you are interested in is cut larger or smaller than the normal. Their pants get longer as the size goes up. |

Nicole Michelle |
They have designed their line around your pre-pregnancy size with an expected addition of 25-40 pounds. This line does run smaller than others and they can custom make items up to 3XL. |
